 I hold the right to refuse any commission at any time.
 I will not start any commission until full payment is made.
 Commissioned artworks may be reposted by the original commissioner. I would appreciate it if there were no major edits made to said pieces and that credit is given if reposted. This goes for custom designs as well as other commissioned works of any kind.
Credit must be given for any piece of work, design or species. This must come in the form of a link to my page on deviantArt, a link to my original work or a link to my species information.
I don't get a notification if you only type my name, it has to be like this: PaperJax.

Usage and Copywright

I, the artist, hold every right to produced drawings, not the commissioner.
There fore I am allowed to use the copyrighted work to:
Promote myself in any place or site
Display in any place to my liking.

Commissioners may allowed to do the following:
 Use the copyrighted work for personal use only, unless previously discussed.
 Print the artwork and claim the characters as their own, but not the actual art.
 Repost the art on deviantArt with credit given.

Commissioners may not do the following:
 Claim the artwork as their own.
Reproduce or sell the artwork.
Remove any signatures or watermarks.
Alter or edit the artwork in any way without prior consent.
Post the artwork on any site other that deviantArt without prior consent or without proper credit even if consent was given.

Customer Satisfaction

I will do whatever I can to make sure my customers are happy. However, once I have finished a commission only small or minor changes can be made without a fee.
Such as small marking or colouring mistakes.

Larger changes such as major positioning, change in design or addition or subtraction of major aspects of the work will come with an extra charge, Complete redrawings or having to restart at the request of a commissioner may have a larger fee attached.
Please make sure your reference pictures are accurate and display any and all detail you would like to have included, This will ensure the artworks come out to your liking.

Payment

All payments are to be made upfront and in full, unless previously discussed.
Payment will be accepted in deviantArt Points or USD through PayPal only.

Refunds and Cancellations

I, the commissioner hold the right to cancel and refund your commission at any time.
You have no right to cancel a commissioned work after payment has been received and the artwork has been started.
If the payment has not been sent, the commissioner has the right to contact me and cancel the commission.

If you file a PayPal chargeback against me, your right to anything I have produced for you will be forfeit and I hold the right to sell any commissioned work to a new buyer.

You will also forfeit your ability to ever commission anything from me again and I will publicly post your name wherever I want as a warning to any one else you will potentially purchase anything from.
I also have the right to file a complaint against you as I have every right to the money you have given to me.

If you ever have an issue relating to a refund and are unclear about the above statements I would prefer you to contact me so that the issue can be properly resolved.

Adoptables

I, PaperJax, retain partial rights to all of my original designs.
Therefore I am allowed to reuse the designs in my own personal artwork and promotional items.

I retain all rights to my own original species, whether they are open or closed species.
Please credit me if and when you post images containing my species.

Purchasing an adoptable or design from me only grants partial rights.
These designs are for personal use only and are not to be used to gain a profit in any way. Doing this will violate the ToS and I retain the right to claim the design back from you.

You may make minor changes to a design purchased from me however in order to make major changes they need to be fully discussed with me prior.
If you are unsure about anything regarding design changes, contact me.

Open Species

My open species are free for anyone to make their own characters as long as the guidelines are followed. Some species may be listed as "Partially Open" in which case they have certain traits that are not free for everyone to use. In this case, usage of these traits must be discussed with me prior to creating your character.
Credit must still be given for my species for any design made from an open species.

Closed Species

All closed species are not free for you to make your own. These are obtainable via commission, adoptable or special give-away only. Commissioned designs from closed species must also follow species rules and guidelines.
Credit for my species must always be given

Change of Ownership and Co-ownership

 Any design made by me is available for ownership by two or more people as long as I have been informed prior.
If you no longer want a design I have given to you, you can return it to me. If you paid for a design you will not be refunded.
If you want to resell or trade the design to someone else, you are under no circumstance allowed to sell it for more than what you paid.
You are allowed to resell at the same price or lower than what you paid. If it is a closed species I would like to be notified about it.

Free to Use and Pay to Use Content

I hold any and all rights to any free or pay to use content that I create.

Any free to use (F2U) content that I produce is free for anyone to use here on deviantArt.
You may not use it anywhere else without prior consent.
You may not alter it in any way unless otherwise stated.
You may not claim it as your own
You must give credit somewhere and link back to me in some form.
You may not reproduce or repost my content anywhere else.

For F2U Icons:
Please leave a comment on the image stating that you will be using it.
Please add the image to your favourites.
Please link back to my page via your signature, journal etc.

For F2U Bases:
Please comment on the image stating that you have used it and link to your art.
Please add the image to your favourites.
Please link back to my original image or my page in your artwork's description.
You may edit the bases in any way you want.
You may make adoptables and sell them for money or points.

Any pay to use (P2U) content that I produce is available for anyone to use as they wish, for a fee.
You may use it on any website as long as you link back to me in some way.
You may not reproduce or redistribute my content in any way.
If you are the purchaser, you are the only one allowed to use the purchased content.

For P2U Bases:
Please leave a comment letting me know you've purchased the base.
Please add the image to your favourites.
Please link back to my original base or page on your artwork.
You may edit the bases in any way you want.
You may make adoptables and sell them for money or points.

Commissions

If you order a commission from me, please make sure you give as much detail as possible to ensure the outcome is desirable to you.

Content

I hold the right to refuse any commission if the commissioner requests content that I am uncomfortable with. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Pornographic imagery
Fetishes
Excessive gore
Hateful imagery
Inhumane imagery

I may refuse if I believe that the request is too complicated or above my skill level.

Ordering

If you wish to commission me for anything please send me your request in a note. If I hold an event where I require you to post in a journal etc, then please follow those directions.

I may require you to provide me with information regarding a commission including but not limited to the following:
A detailed description of what you would like.
Detailed references for any characters to be in the commissioned art.
Themes or suggestions you may have for the art.
Colour schemes you may prefer.
Things you do not want included.
Poses or background imagery you would like.

Pricing

For now, all pricing will be discussed between myself and the commissioner.
A full price list will be posted here when I have it solidified.

All pricing is subject to change at my discretion.
